Real Busy Adults Can Build Fitness Success – A Conversation with Eric Purdy
Many adults are hesitant about taking the steps forward to getting in shape and feel great.
You could feel overwhelmed form work, family life, that you just don’t believe you have the time and energy to focus on your fitness.
Long time member, Eric Purdy, joined Synergy 5 years ago and has never looked back.
Eric is know to be a hard worker.
He will work a 70 hour work week with no hesitation.
He always places his family first.
Yet he still is able to make time for his health and fitness.
But how was he able to take on this strong mindset?
Eric has been fortunate enough to not have any major health problems.
But regardless, when he reached the age of 30, he felt as though his health was falling apart.
He was motivated to get moving and lose weight to live a longer and happier life.
His approach started small and practical; making better diet choices, running, and working out at home.
After time, working out on his own became stale.
He was no longer feeling motivated or seeing the results he was hoping for.
He decided that it was time to switch things up and gave Synergy a chance.
Fast forward 4 years later, Eric is still going strong in the gym and feels more motivated than ever.
His motivation comes from those around him.
His family, gym community, running community, friends, etc. all push him to become the best version of himself.
Fitness has become both an enjoyable and social activity through gym sessions, runs, and hikes
Eric talks more on his fitness journey on Episode 9 of Synergy’s Accidentally Fit Podcast – “Real Busy Adults Can Build Fitness Success – A Conversation with Eric Purdy“.
