The Number On The Scale Does Not Matter!

The Number On The Scale Does Not Matter!

Recently we have been having “Health Roadmap” sessions with our members.

A trainer will sit down with our member and discuss their workouts, nutrition, stress, and sleep.

We then are able to create a 6 week road map to bettering their healthy lifestyle.

One aspect of this 6 week roadmap is tracking changes using our InBody scanner.

The scan is able to break down how much of your body is water, fat, lean muscle, etc.

Your health is not determined by the number on the scale.

What determines your health is the composition of your weight.

You could be working out for a month.

After stepping back on the scale, you see no changes in your weight.

This can be discouraging.

Meanwhile, your body composition has completely changed.

Yes, the number on the scale reads the same.

But you succeeded at losing 8 pounds of fat and gained 8 pounds of muscle.

If you are they type of person who is obsessed over the number on the scale, it is going to affect you seeing your results.

Maybe this will help:

Take 6 weeks to incorporate resistance training into your routine.

Support this with some cardio.

Add an extra vegetable to each meal.

Replace unhealthy options with healthy ones.

Don’t cut back, just replace.

Take a few ‘before” measurements.

And give yourself some grace when your need it.

These small changes will help you see the results that you are looking for.

Don’t be stuck on the number that appears on the scale.
