3 Ways To Make Health Easy
Placing an emphasis on your fitness might not always be at the front of mind…
…especially during this pandemic.
Heather Maio owner of New York Sport and Fitness has been passionate about helping her members continue to pursue their fitness over this large speed bump that we are all currently facing.
There are some easy ways to manage the stresses of life, stay healthy and happy.
1.) Design Your Environment
Set yourself up for success by making it easy to make healthy choices.
If you keep juke food around the house, you’re going to indulge.
If you stock your fridge with healthy food for the week, you’re going to make better meal choices.
This way health will happen accidentally…or not so accidentally.
2.) Schedule A Workout
Many of us are spending more time at home.
And the option to workout at home is more prevalent than ever.
If your planning on workout out at the gym, following along with a training video at home, or going for a family walk, schedule it into your day.
If you dedicate time for your health, you’re more likely to follow through.
If you need some more help staying accountable, don’t be afraid to ask for some extra guidance.
3.) Give Yourself Permission to Quit
This might sound a bit counterintuitive to the tips above.
But it is importance to give yourself grace.
If your start a workout out and aren’t feeling it anymore halfway through, its okay to stop.
Once you’re set in a healthy routine, you won’t typically want to give up.
But it is okay to take a break if you need it.
Heather breaks down these easy simple ways to keep healthy on Episode 5 of Synergy’s Accidentally Fit Podcast – “3 Ways To Make Health Easy – A Conversation with Heather Maio of New York Sport and Fitness“.
