Homemade Thick Axle Bar Deadlifts

http://www.synergy-athletics.com . Here is our first time deadlifting with my homemade thick bar. We were not able to pull 225 with the normal grip and had to go thumbless. My forearms were burning the next day!

It is used as a supplemental exercise since hand strength is the limiting factor, and not the posterior chain.
