I spoke with fellow local gym owner, Laura of IronWorks Gym, to get her insight into adult fitness.

From her experience training, she shared 3 simple tips that help keep busy adults motivated towards their fitness.

1.) Staying Hydrated.

If you’re feeling lethargic or unmotivated throughout the day, often this can be from dehydration.

We recommend a daily water intake of half to your whole body weight in ounces.

Yes, you’ll be taking more bathroom breaks.

But your body will thank you in the long run.

2.) Find Movement You Enjoy.

Not everyone enjoys running.

And that’s okay!

Maybe you’d prefer to take your dog on a walk.

Or play football in the yard with your children.

Finding movement that you enjoy will make staying active feel like a breeze.

3.) Focus On Things You Can Do For Others.

Doing things for others will fill you with feelings of gratitude.
