The Number On The Scale Does Not Matter!<\/h1>\n

Recently we have been having “Health Roadmap” sessions with our members.<\/p>\n

A trainer will sit down with our member and discuss their workouts, nutrition, stress, and sleep.<\/p>\n

We then are able to create a 6 week road map to bettering their healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n

One aspect of this 6 week roadmap is tracking changes using our InBody scanner.<\/p>\n

The scan is able to break down how much of your body is water, fat, lean muscle, etc.<\/p>\n

Your health is not determined by the number on the scale.<\/p>\n

What determines your health is the composition of your weight.<\/p>\n

You could be working out for a month.<\/p>\n

After stepping back on the scale, you see no changes in your weight.<\/p>\n

This can be discouraging.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, your body composition has completely changed.<\/p>\n

Yes, the number on the scale reads the same.<\/p>\n

But you succeeded at losing 8 pounds of fat and gained 8 pounds of muscle.<\/p>\n

If you are they type of person who is obsessed over the number on the scale, it is going to affect you seeing your results.<\/p>\n

Maybe this will help:<\/p>\n

Take 6 weeks to incorporate resistance training into your routine.<\/p>\n

Support this with some cardio.<\/p>\n

Add an extra vegetable to each meal.<\/p>\n

Replace unhealthy options with healthy ones.<\/p>\n

Don’t cut back, just replace.<\/p>\n

Take a few ‘before” measurements.<\/p>\n

And give yourself some grace when your need it.<\/p>\n

These small changes will help you see the results that you are looking for.<\/p>\n

Don’t be stuck on the number that appears on the scale.<\/p>\n
