Founder and Owner
Joe is the founder and owner of Synergy Athletics. He is the lead facility trainer of Synergy Vestal. He has certifications in both his MAT and NSCA CSCS.
He has a passion for training because he has come to appreciate fitness as a way to live longer and healthier with those he loves. He wants to help others to this path as well.
Joe’s favorite fitness quote is “Everyone is self-made”.
Rachel, a trainer for InMotion at Lourdes Hospital powered by Synergy, holds certifications in ACSM Certified Personal training. In addition, she has her Madd Dog spin certification and AFAA Group Exercise Certification.
Her passion for training is derived from meeting new people, hearing there stories and goals, and helping them to accomplish those. The drive to transform individuals in to a happier and healthier version of themselves is why she loves her job.
Her favorite goals related quote by Jordan Burroughs, “Success is the piece of mind knowing that you’ve given your all into achieving a goal.”
Colin, the lead facility trainer of InMotion at Lourdes Hospital powered by Synergy, holds certifications in AFAA personal training and Precision nutrition level 1.
He is passionate about training because it allows him to share the joy he feels from exercise. He emphasizes the changed perception of exercise is a ‘punishment’ to something that is fun and can be looked forward to. It’s not you ‘have’ to work out, you ‘get’ to work out!

Lead Facility Trainer
Byron, the lead facility trainer of Synergy Endwell, is a certified personal trainer through ACSM. He is a Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist too. Currently, he is working to become a Certified strength and Conditioning specialist.
Bryon believes in the relationship of training and being in the real world, nothing in life should be handed to you, you must work for it. The same concept applies to training, if you don’t work hard in the gym you won’t see the results.
His favorite fitness quote is “Strength is never a weakness, weakness is never a strength.”
Holly, a trainer at Synergy Endwell, is a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA.
Her passion for training comes from the enjoyment of working with others to help them achieve there goals. As trainer it makes her feel great knowing she can make a difference in someone’s life.

Jesslynn, the Synergy nutritionist and a trainer at Synergy Vestal. Currently, she is pursuing a masters in Nutrition at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and her Certified Personal Trainer certification.
Jesslynn is passionate about training because of the positive impact on individuals lives and attitudes about health. It is exciting to see the progress members make each month.

Sarah, a trainer at Synergy Vestal, holds a CPT certification through the NSCA.
She is passionate about training because health and physical activity have always held a large emphasis in her life and she enjoys making an impact in individuals lives. When the two are combined that is what truly makes her passionate about working with members.

Lead Facility Trainer
Trinel, the lead facility trainer of Synergy Albany, is a certified personal trainer through NASM.
Trinel is passionate about training because fitness development is a field that can change someones life in more ways than one.

We know joining a new gym can be daunting, but we make it comfortable and easy.
Do I always work with a trainer?
Yes! A trainer will guide you through each custom session based on your personal goals and fitness level. You’re never left guessing what to do next!
What's your rates?
We have three monthly packages for you to choose. The more often you come, the lower the per session rate becomes. See the pricing table for more details.
Do I have to sign up for an annual contract?
Nope! Our basic membership packages bill monthly and you may cancel during any month with 5 business days notice. We do have a supercharged annual package that is packed with bonuses like 6 week goal coaching and accountability checks, but even that one bills monthly.
What are your hours?
You’ll have the control to choose the 60 minutes that best fits your day — and even change your session day-to-day using our “Life Happens” scheduling app! Our hours vary by location and can be found on our contact page.
