Proper In-season Athlete Workouts
In-season programs are the most difficult to make. Joints, stress, sport imbalances, and practice intensity are just a few of the many considerations.
Fortunately, I took everything into account and created a program for you to use. Here is a video of one of our teams going through the full body maintenance day.
A Few Exercises and Considerations to Note:
* Moderate weights being used.
* Only lower body exercise today unilateral.
* No specific posterior chain during the first few days of practice (usually hardest running days).
* Spent PLENTY of time doing restoration movements.
* Selected back and chest exercises that put minimal stress on the joints
