Core Exercises: Bird Dog Low Back / Core Training (PART II)

Core exercises needed to be done right in order to be safe on the lower back and ab muscles. Here are the second two progressions to a common core exercise, the bird dog. You need to find a neutral back posture, tighten your abs, and complete the exercise by squeezing the glutes. You can see that I’m struggling on the hardest exercise variation – it’s difficult!

Make sure you warm up with the easier bird dog exercises before going right for the tough drill.
